Holiday Music. The Most Beautiful Opera Arias

Soloists of the Latvian National Opera will perform at the concert - soprano Marlēna Keine (pictured), tenor Mihails Čuļpajevs and pianist Agnese Egliņa.

The concert program includes love stories from well-known operas composed by various composers. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's subtly psychological masterpiece "Don Juan", Bedrich Smetana's comic opera "The Bartered Bride" riddled with love vicissitudes, "Werther", a French romantic pearl composed by Gilles Massenet, based on the tragic love story of the young poet Werther. Excerpts from Giuseppe Verdi's Traviata, which is often called the queen of the beauty of all Verdi operas, will also be performed.
