Dita Lūse's exhibition "Shelter in the Sun" | Aspazija's House

Artist Dita Lūse has deliberately conceived the exhibition as a harbor of peace. “I wanted my paintings to be a refuge filled with calm and balance, a place where time slows down for the viewer. Light, space, and floor patterns make it possible to reveal depth and create a sense of solitude and silence. By letting one’s gaze follow the patterns of light, it is possible to drift away in thought, to lose oneself for a moment—or, on the contrary, to be alone with oneself and forget reality.”
