In 1910 for the donated money, the first Gardening school in Latvia was founded. Architect A. Vanags. The school was opened in Bulduri, on a territory of the historical centre of Bulduri manor. In 1911, the first school building was finished. Before the beginning of World War I a remarkable household was here – the garden had 200 species of fruittrees, as well as carrots, tomatoes and corn were cultivated here. The picture shows new study corps that was built in 1989.
