A rehabilitation field in which by assessing the physical condition of a person (gait, posture, balance, mobility) its impact on daily activities, wellbeing is analysed, and according to the patient’s complaints, a physiotherapist helps to restore or improve the physically functional condition of a person after injuries or surgeries, improve posture, coordination, increase physical endurance, reduce pain, oedema, ease the course of chronic diseases. A variety of therapeutic techniques are used in physiotherapy, including remedial gymnastics, taping, massage, sling suspension therapy, manual therapy methods and sometimes special physiotherapeutic tools. Specifically, physiotherapy is recommended after surgeries, injuries, in case of back and muscle pain, and it is also valuable for preventive purposes – to remain healthy.
