On 24 August, the international Jūrmala Color Run will take place in Kauguri Park for the tenth time – a five-kilometre run that turns into a colourful festival with colour and foam stations, music, and surprises. The event is part of the world-famous The Color Run series, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and attracting more than eight million participants annually.

Everyone is welcome to join – there are no age restrictions. The route will feature four colour stations and one foam station, with special children’s runs held before the main start. There will also be “Zumba” masterclasses led by trainers from the Baltic States. The run uses 100% natural, environmentally friendly food-grade colour powder, and the official outfit is white.

Participation for Jūrmala residents with a resident’s card is free of charge. Advance registration is open until 22 August at www.baltijasmaratoni.lv, where you can also find route maps and event regulations. Registration will also be available on the day of the event at the venue.

The event will be photographed and filmed – images and videos will be available on www.baltijasmaratoni.lv. Participants will also have a chance to win flights to Istanbul.
