Aurēlija Šimkus. Solo Concert | Dzintari Concert Hall

Pianist Aurēlija Šimkus will perform piano works by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms and Franz Liszt. The programme includes Haydn’s Piano Sonata in C minor, Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 31, Brahms’s Piano Pieces, Op. 119, as well as Liszt’s Second Ballade and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 15.

The programme brings together works from the Viennese Classical and Romantic periods. The concert lasts 2 hours and is performed in two parts.
