Jūrmala Jazz Club | Tribute to Astrud & João Gilberto | JCC

The concert “Tribute to Astrud & João Gilberto” is dedicated to Brazilian bossa nova artists. Featuring Kristīne Cīrule (vocals), Kārlis Mangulsons (vocals, guitar), Alise Golovacka (flute), Edgars Cīrulis (piano, synthesizer), Staņislavs Judins (double bass, bass guitar), and Kalvis Sležis-Zaļkalns (percussion).

The program features bossa nova classics, including “The Girl from Ipanema” and “Corcovado,” as well as lesser-known compositions. The music is characterized by a nuanced, minimalist sound.

Admission is 20 EUR; 15 EUR for people with disabilities, seniors, and Jūrmala residents with a resident card. Advance ticket sales are available at “Biļešu paradīze” ticket offices and online, as well as at the Jūrmala Cultural Center box office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 13:00 to 18:00 and before the event (cash only!).
