The concert will feature 130 cellists from all over Latvia, representing different generations of musicians - children and young people who are currently learning to play the cello, students, professional musicians and seniors.
The “Melo-M Mega Orchestra” will perform well-known and beloved compositions, as well as original compositions by composer Kārlis Auzāns, specially created for this concert for 130 cellos and percussion.
The program is genre-diverse, therefore accessible to a very wide audience - families, young people, lovers of classical and popular music.
The cello sound will be complemented by two outstanding percussionists Miķelis Vite and Mārtiņš Miļevskis.
Concert duration: 1h 20 min (without intermission)
