Resort rehabilitation centre "Jaunķemeri"

The rehabilitation centre surrounded by Ķemeri National Park attracts with its historical resort treatment traditions, including mud and hydrogen sulphide baths, and “Jaunķemeri” is often chosen as a place to undergo early rehabilitation after acute illnesses, injuries or surgery immediately after leaving the hospital. However, a lot of effort is put into changing the view that medical rehabilitation is something that only older people or people with serious health problems require. There already are many visitors in their prime years, who just want to take care of themselves, restart their health, regain energy, engage in sporting activities or loose the excess weight by choosing to enjoy a course of juices. Families with children are also welcome, because rehabilitation services are provided to children from the age of 2 in cases of serious illnesses or to prevent such.

The offer of rehabilitation programmes is extensive and every visitor will find something suitable for him/herself, however, no treatment takes place without supervision of a physician at “Jaunķemeri”. If one has planned to spend some leisure time at rehabilitation centre “Jaunķemeri”, it is a great opportunity to receive specialist consultations co-financed by the state in a contemporary outpatient clinic.

Something of interest!

Around 40 tons of mud are used for treatments at the rehabilitation centre in a months!
