The trail along the shores with lakes is populated by numerous waterfowl winds through various forests. It starts and ends at Sloka Lake, where there is a parking lot, a picnic area, and a 7 m high floating tower for sightseeing. Walking along the trail, you can see a number of interesting sites – swamp forests of Vēršupīte, sulphur spring near Sloka Lake, the great bolder, and several swamp lakes. Climbing the observing tower, you can dive into bird watching on Slokas Lake.
The trail is basically a ground trail. A boardwalk (of a width of 80 cm) was constructed through the Vēršupīte and covered other wetlands.
At the beginning of the trail, it goes as the ground path, with no marking along the sides, on the crossings with other forest paths there are red wood signs. The trail ends at the road that connects Sloka Lake with Ķemeri. If you left the vehicle in the parking lot of Sloka Lake, then you need to go back to the lake along the land road in the direction to the left.
It is recommended to visit the trail in late spring, summer, and autumn (in early spring and late autumn the trail may be flooded and slippery).
