Ķemeri Forest Park is a scenic green area where the historic atmosphere of the resort meets a wide range of opportunities for recreation, socialising and learning. The park dates back to the 19th century, and its layout still preserves the historic network of walking paths winding through the wooded landscape and along the banks of the Vēršupīte River.

The park is suitable for both leisurely walks and individual relaxation, as well as shared activities with family, friends or like-minded people. Visitors can cycle, enjoy a picnic, observe nature, take photographs, sketch or paint outdoors, read, exercise or simply meet for a conversation in the fresh air. A small event area and the “green classroom” also make the park suitable for creative workshops, guided tours, educational events and family activities.

Two restored historic stone bridges over the Vēršupīte River give the park a distinctive character. They are architectural monuments of national importance and among the most striking features of the park landscape. The area also includes information boards about local flora and fauna, benches, picnic areas, bicycle stands and illuminated paths.
