Jūrmala Restaurant Week 2025, 6–19 October

For the third year in a row, Jurmala invites guests to its Restaurant Week, taking place from October 6 to 19. More than 20 restaurants and cafés across the city will participate, offering specially curated menus in two price categories: €35 and €45.

This autumn, the unifying thread is the spirit of various world cuisines, highlighted through the abundance of the harvest season – with pumpkin, apples and pears, quince, wild mushrooms, and root vegetables taking the leading role on the menus. They appear in warming cream soups and risottos, as well as in desserts with caramelised fruit and nuts. Latvian trout, catfish, and flounder are served alongside game and forest produce, intertwining with nuances of Mediterranean, Caucasian, and Asian cuisines.

This year’s menus highlight smoked flavors and truffle accents – from Beef Wellington and venison loin with wild mushroom sauce to creative interpretations of duck and lamb. The seafood offering is equally impressive, featuring Faroese salmon, tiger prawns, mackerel, and pike. International inspirations are reflected in a broad spectrum – from Georgian stews and hearty Armenian dishes to Mediterranean taverna favorites and Japanese street-food classics.

Desserts have become an essential part of the gastronomic narrative – from pear tartlets and quince mille-feuille to French clafoutis and Italian icons such as tiramisu, cannoli, and panna cotta. In several restaurants, desserts are paired with a chef’s compliment or a thoughtfully selected drink, turning the meal into a complete culinary journey.

This autumn, Jurmala Restaurant Week promises a diverse voyage of flavors – from local forests to faraway regions of the world, with chefs’ creative touches, carefully matched beverages, and vegetarian or vegan alternatives, making the season a true delight for every guest.

This year, the line-up is enriched by the newly opened Stacija Vaivari Kitchen, underlining Jurmala’s ever-evolving and increasingly diverse culinary scene.
