On 4 May, Latvia’s Restoration of Independence Day, Majori Beach in Jūrmala will transform into a vibrant hub of movement, music and positive energy. The Jūrmala Running Festival offers a unique running experience right along the seashore, with sand underfoot and fresh coastal air.

The event is organised by Baltijasmaratoni.lv and features distances suitable for all ages and fitness levels:
– Mile run (1609 m)
– 5 km “Musician’s Run” with OZOLS
– 10 km run
– 500 m children’s run
– Nordic walking distances: 5 km, 10 km and 21 km (Latvian Championship stage)

Alongside the races, visitors can enjoy a live performance by OZOLS after the finish, a Baltic Street Food area, activities throughout the day, and a dedicated Activepark zone for families and children. All participants receive a commemorative medal, and warm-up sessions with MyFitness Latvia trainers will be available before the event.
