This year’s Jūrmala Resort Festival will capture the vibrant mood of early summer, transforming the city into a lively and colourful gallery of “Jūrmala Postcards”. Throughout the day, various locations will come alive with stories of Jūrmala’s nature, history, and culture, inspired by the correspondence of the famous Latvian literary couple Rainis and Aspazija, marking their 160th anniversary.

Festival rhythms will fill the bustling Jomas Street, which will become a vibrant music boulevard with DJ stages, creative workshops, and street performances. In Horn’s Garden, enjoy concerts by Jūrmala’s creative collectives and a performance by indie-pop singer Elizabete Gaile.

On Majori Beach, visitors can admire sand poetry compositions and sculptures of Aspazija’s beloved cats. The Majori parking area will host a vibrant street food zone. Meanwhile, Dzintari Forest Park invites sports enthusiasts to the Jūrmala 3x3 Basketball Championship, and near the Dzintari Concert Hall, explore the open-air “Kukū Market” featuring Latvian artisans and local producers.

In the afternoon, the streets will come alive with the traditional Festival Parade, where Jūrmala residents proudly showcase their city’s identity through themed performances inspired by “Jūrmala Postcards”.

The evening will culminate with an exciting Air Show over the sea, featuring spectacular aerobatic demonstrations. The Grand Concert on Majori Beach Stage will present rock musician Ivo Fomins, the popular hip-hop group Singapūras Satīns, and the genre-defying classical rebels Dagamba. The festival will close with a dazzling light and fireworks show, and DJ Kārlis Ķilkuts will keep the dancefloor alive until midnight.
